Cory Newman is a 22‑year‑old accounting graduate with cerebral palsy and has a passion for helping small businesses stay organised, confident, and in control of their finances. After completing his Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) through EIT Tairāwhiti in 2025, Cory has built a reputation for being reliable, detail‑driven, and exceptionally skilled in Xero and payroll systems.
Cory has been using Xero since high school, where he completed the NCEA Achievement Standard in accounting software. Since then, he has supported a wide range of clients, from real estate and hospitality to tutoring services and artisan bakeries. He also volunteers as Treasurer for the Regional Disability Sport Organisation in Gisborne, managing payroll, GST, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
